
Luxury Jordan Tours – Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Luxury Jordan Tours, we are dedicated to crafting bespoke, seamless, and unforgettable journeys through the Kingdom of Jordan. Because our itineraries feature highly personalized services, exclusive accommodations, and private logistics, cancellations impact our partnerships with boutique luxury properties and elite local specialists.
This policy balances elegant flexibility for our guests with the strict financial commitments required to secure Jordan’s finest travel experiences. By confirming your booking with us, you explicitly accept the terms outlined below.
Booking Deposits and Confirmations
Initial Deposit: To secure your luxury itinerary, private transportation, and high-end accommodation bookings, a non-refundable deposit of 35% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking confirmation.
Final Balance: The remaining balance is due exactly 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date in Jordan. If a booking is made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is required immediately to guarantee all reservations.
Cancellation by the Client
If you must cancel your travel arrangements, the cancellation request must be submitted in writing via email to binbatotah@gmail.com. The date the email is received will determine the applicable cancellation fees.
Cancellation charges are calculated as a percentage of the total tour price, based on how far in advance we receive your notice:
If you must cancel your booking, the applicable fees are determined by the timeline of your written notice prior to the tour start date.
- For cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund of the balance paid, excluding the 5% non-refundable deposit which is retained as the cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received between 30 and 14 days prior to arrival will result in a 50% refund of the total tour price, with the remaining 50% kept as a cancellation fee.
- Finally, if notice is given 14 days or fewer before the tour—or in the event of a no-show—no refund will be issued, and a 100% cancellation fee applies.
Peak Season & Ultra-Luxury Tier Exceptions: For bookings during high seasons (March–May and September–November) or itineraries involving specific ultra-luxury boutique desert camps and private site buyouts, stricter supplier terms may override this timeline. Any such customized cancellation schedules will be explicitly noted on your specific booking invoice and take legal precedence.
Note on Non-Refundable Expenses: Regardless of the timeline above, any strictly non-refundable expenses already incurred by Luxury Jordan Tours on your behalf—such as specialized private permits, exclusive site buyouts, or specific non-refundable luxury hotel blocks—cannot be refunded.
Postponement and Rescheduling
We believe luxury service means flexibility. If you wish to reschedule your tour rather than cancel it entirely:
- Requests to postpone a trip must be made at least 30 days before your original arrival date.
- We will do our utmost to transfer your full payments (minus any direct supplier change fees) to your new travel dates, subject to seasonal availability and pricing differences.
- Postponed trips must typically be taken within 12 months of the original start date.
Unused Services & “No-Shows”
No refunds or credits will be issued for any unused portions of the tour once the journey has commenced. This includes:
- Early departures, late arrivals, or voluntary missed days.
- Unused private transfers, guided excursions, entrance tickets, or meals.
- Room upgrades or hotel nights missed due to flight delays or personal changes.
Cancellations or Alterations by Us
While we make every effort to operate all tours as scheduled, Luxury Jordan Tours reserves the right to make minor adjustments to itineraries if necessary due to local conditions or operational requirements.
In the rare event that we must cancel your entire tour prior to departure for reasons within our control, you will receive a 100% full refund of all monies paid to us. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses incurred as a result of a cancellation, such as non-refundable international airline tickets.
Force Majeure
- Postponements over Cancellations: If you request to reschedule your tour instead of canceling, we will do our utmost to transfer your payments (minus any direct supplier change penalties) to your new dates. Postponement requests must be made at least 30 days prior to arrival and travel must occur within 12 months.
- Flight Disruptions and Delays: Luxury Jordan Tours is not responsible for international flight delays, cancellations, or missed connections. If a delay causes you to miss the start of your tour, any costs to catch up with the itinerary, rearrange private transfers, or rebook missed luxury hotel nights are the sole financial responsibility of the client.
- Force Majeure: Luxury Jordan Tours cannot accept liability or issue standard refunds where performance is disrupted by acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, natural disasters, severe weather, or sudden border closures by authorities.
Mandatory Travel Insurance
Because of the strict cancellation policies imposed by luxury hospitality providers in Jordan, Luxury Jordan Tours highly recommends that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.
Your policy should ideally include “Cancel for Any Reason” (CFAR) coverage, as well as protection against trip interruption, flight delays, emergency medical evacuation, and baggage loss. This ensures complete peace of mind.
Refund Processing
- Original Method: Approved refunds are processed strictly through the original payment method used during booking (e.g., specific credit card or bank wire transfer).
- Timeline: Please allow 14 to 21 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your financial institution’s international processing speeds.
- Exchange Rate and Gateway Volatility: All refunds are calculated based on the original invoice amount in the baseline currency. Luxury Jordan Tours is not responsible for losses, variances, or fluctuations caused by international currency exchange rates or foreign transaction fees imposed by the client’s bank. Any third-party transaction fees (bank wires or gateway fees) will be deducted from the final refund.
- Chargeback Waiver: By paying the 35% deposit, the client explicitly agrees to these terms. The client waives the right to initiate a credit card chargeback dispute with their issuing bank for any non-refundable deposit or cancellation fee applied in accordance with this policy.
